Accumulate geodes while delving deep underground to build up the largest geode collection, with simple controls and mechanics similar to sokoban. I tried to stay as simple as possible when I was making this game, with fewer elements and an emphasis on level design.

Hey, I'm working on an early preview version of a grid-based game maker/editor/maker game. I made a clone of Geode as one of the testing projects and I wanted to see if you would be ok with me including the clone (mechanics and levels specifically) as an example game. With credit of course. Thanks for this game btw it's great!

Yes, I would be thrilled! I will note that the last level is a huge difficulty spike, so you might not want to include it, depending on your goals. What's the name of your project?

Thanks! I'm calling it Grid Game Maker, working on a preview edition that should be out very soon. Let me know if you would like access to the current dev version, I can send you an access key over private message or email.

it's weird how this is like a reverse puzzle game, like "given these constraints, construct something solvable"

Great puzzle design! :)

I normally don't like sokoban, but this one gets the magic right. Except for the insane final level, most levels don't have more than 3 geodes, and the bulk of the puzzle is figuring out the order and direction to split them, so resetting and trying again are fast, lowering the frustration factor. Absolutely fantastic level design.

I had a great time puzzling this game out, it manages to be a real thought-twister in such a tight frame, really ingenious design! The last level is incredibly satisfying to clear :)

I love this game. Simple but not easy!

Excellent game! Though I agree that level 10 (and a few other levels) seem impossible. I'll put it aside for a bit and try again.

Very ingenious mechanics! Planning is almost embedded in the rules.

Level 10 (the middle one on the sidebar) seems impossible?

its a tough nut (or in this case, geode :P) for sure

This is the first level that requires a "new" mechanic.
